Leg Flexibility for Beginners

1.5 hours | 10 student minimum, 20 student maximum
​
Intended for students of all levels, this workshop will focus on alignment and technique to teach students how to safely stretch on their own. We will break down the differences between passive and active flexibility, while providing exercises and sequencing for both.

Advanced Active Leg Flexibility

1.5 hours | 10 student minimum, 20 student maximum
​

Designed to take students to the next level in accessing their flexibility while training and performing, this workshop is ideal for those who already have advanced dance, acrobatic, or aerial training. This class focuses on technique, providing students with practical exercises to help them access for entire range actively.

Straighten up: Straight Handstands for Bendy People

IN PERSON: 2 hours | Designed for 6-8 students
ONLINE: 1.5 hours | 5 person max.

This workshop breaks down handstands, reviewing hand placement, shoulder and body alignment, and how to properly engage your muscles to maintain balance. Catie will instruct students on how to use their flexibility to master handstand presses, including straddle, tuck, and split presses. Students will also be provided with the tools necessary to build strength and muscle coordination in order to continue to practice on their own.

This workshop is recommended for students who are already able to do splits comfortably.

Back in Action
How to Improve Back Flexibility

2 hours | Designed for 10-20 students

This workshop focuses on the fundamentals of back flexibility with an emphasis on safe and effective exercises in order to achieve it. We will start by learning how to properly warm up, then dive into hip and shoulders openers before going on to deep, yet safe, back bending work. We will go over many do's and don'ts, and the importance of using your whole back, hips and shoulders to achieve a beautiful, healthy backbend. We will also discuss and practice post-backbend conditioning and basic safety tips.

VIRTUAL WORKSHOP
​The Elusive Upper Back

IN PERSON OR ONLINE: 1.5 hours | 5 person max.
​

Can't seem to get your upper back to bend at will or move at all? This online workshop will focus on new exercises, tools and tricks to unlocking those elusive upper back muscles. We will also go over back & neck warm up exercises, and shoulder stretches, so students can connect shoulder and neck extension with upper back mobility.
